gDiaper - A Flushable and Eco-Friendly Diaper
Did you know that according to some amounts, diapers make up about thirty percent of the debris found in our dumping grounds? Each year, over fifteen billion diapers are used in the United States. It's hard to help not feeling guilty about the environmental impact they have. But is there an alternative? Parents ask this all the time and the answer is absolutely there is. There is an environmentally friendly disposable product called the gDiaper.
It was discovered by an environmentally conscious couple in Australia that were looking for a better alternative. The product is all organic that has an inner liner made of tree farm fluff pulp that is totally biodegradable and able to be flushed. They also have no perfume and use no chlorine, which means your baby's sensitive skin will be protected.
The gDiapers consist of a plastic free flushable refill that consists of biodegradable tree farm fluff pulp material and a super absorber, and a organic cotton outerpant that is washable, reusable, and available in a wide range of colors for either a boy or girl. It is available in colors such as lavender, green, blue and pink. They are designed for use by either gender, which also makes it a very versatile diaper.
Like I said previously, the gDiaper refill is flushable. Unlike most diapers which break down in hundreds of years, the gDiaper consists of biodegradable materials which break down in a matter of months. They also have no perfumes, dyes, are odorless and contain no elemental chlorine. This makes gDiapers not only earth friendly, but also friendly to a baby's sensitive skin.
A final feature of these environmentally friendly disposable diapers is the ease of use. The flushable liner easily fits into the outerpant. When it's time for a change, simply take it out and rip the liner where it is perforated, letting its content fall into the toilet. Then place the rest of the liner in, using the included swish stick to stir it up. Then flush it away. It's that easy.
If you are concerned about the landfill waste and all the environmental concerns of diapers, then you should definitely consider the gdiaper.
